Vital Voices (Zeinorin Angkang)

This is a portrait I illustrated of Zeinorin Angkang, founder of Hill Wild, an organization working with the Tangkhul Naga People to eradicate poverty and champion Indigenous Peoples’ knowledge and voices.

Hers is the fourth of five portraits I did for @vitalvoices currently on exhibit at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The exhibition features portraits of 17 women leaders from around the world who are driving creative solutions that collectively advance the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
